Arguably one of the better things about Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice was the addition of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, and at San Diego Comic Con 2016, Warner Bros. gave audiences the official first look at the full-length standalone film set for release next year.
Watch:
Wonder Woman stars Gadot alongside Chris Pine, Robin Wright, and Connie Nielsen. It’s slated to hit theaters next summer on June 2, 2017.
But that wasn’t the only big reveal marking Wonder Woman‘s 75th Anniversary at SDCC. Along with Gadot’s Amazonian princess, Warner Bros. and DC Comics shared an extended “trailer” with footage from the upcoming Batman v. Superman sequel, Justice League.
Justice League will bring back Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman, who will be joined by Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to face-off against an impending villain. Superman (Henry Cavill) is listed in the cast, but after the end of BvS, it’s unclear how big a role he will play in the film.
Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17, 2017.
