The International Rhino Foundation recently released an aww-worthy video of a new baby Sumatran rhino playing in the mud. The calf was just born in May and she is clearly getting the hang of being a rhino.
But aside from being cute, she is special in more ways than one.
There are only 100 Sumatran rhinos left on the planet, part of only five remaining species of rhinoceros. Back in March, researchers made contact with the first Sumatran rhino in the Kalimantan region in over 40 years, but it died shortly after capture.
There are about 29,000 total rhinos left in the wild today.
So, enjoy this little tyke while you still can!
