Reporter Preparing for Live Broadcast Rescues Lost Kitten
A news crew brought home an extra member while reporting on a story this past week. The group from Nashville’s Fox 17 was reporting on local traffic when they heard desperate cries coming from nearby bushes. Investigating further, reporter Sabrina Hall discovered a kitten.
In a post on her Facebook, Hall elaborated on the incident writing:
“This little kitten called for help the moment we arrived for our live shot last night. She was all alone in brush next to a loud and busy highway. She followed me everywhere but was too afraid at first to be touched. I finally reached out and grabbed her. Took her home. Gave her a flea bath, food and water. She made a friends (sic). Got a vet visit and now as a forever home (sic). I hear her new name is Ruby.”
While at her home, Hall introduced the kitten to her dog and the two animals hit it off right away. This led to some personal bonding photos and videos posted on the reporter’s social media profile.
After Hall got the kitten cleaned up, she took the animal to the vet who gave the kitten (actually a male) a clean bill of health. The kitten was later adopted by a permanent family, giving the story the happy ending it deserved.
