Do you remember the first time you had the hiccups? They can be annoying. They can pop up randomly, and then you run the risk of someone trying to scare the bejeezus out of you in the attempt to make them go away. I think we can all agree that we could do without the hiccups.
Take this puppy, for example. Poppy, at only eight weeks old, hasn’t had many experiences in life, but she can now officially say that she’s had the hiccups. And man, was it life changing. Just watch the poor girl try and make sense about what was happening to her:
After the first round of hiccups, Poppy stares directly into the camera as if to say, “Dude, tell me you heard that too!” As the hiccups continue, the golden retriever begins to look around, searching for the source of this new feeling. She decides to bury herself in her bed, probably to try and smother the hiccups, but of course they continue.
At one point, Poppy rises and looks around, visibly confused, giving off a “All right show yourself, weird-throat-noise!” vibe. Eventually, the pup leans towards the person filming, as if to say “Help me!”
Yep. Hiccups suck.
