New York City Hosts Global Citizen Advocacy Festival
On Saturday, New York’s Central Park played host to a number of the world’s top performing artists to help raise awareness to “take action on the world’s biggest challenges.”
The Global Citizen Festival took place Saturday with live performances from headlining bands Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Beyonce, and Ed Sheeran, and included plenty of special guest performances and appearances by Leonardo DiCaprio, Ariana Grande, actress Kerry Washington, Sophia Bush, U2’s Bono, Jay Z, Usher, Sesame Street’s Big Bird, and many more.
