A Redditor Responds to Bigot Neighbors With Prideful Christmas Lights

This Redditor has sent a colorful message – a season’s greetings, if you will.

Reddit user MrsRoseyCrotch claims that her new neighbors are bigots. In return, she and her husband decked their bushes with prideful boughs of holly for their neighbor to enjoy.

“I’m sure me telling her my opinion on [homophobia] won’t make a difference,” said the passive aggressive woman on Reddit.

Apparently, the Redditor and her husband were Mormons, but they decided to leave the church. Their new neighbor, from the same church, found out and chatted them up about her views.

The neighbor complained that her son was turned down for prom from a girl who was going with her girlfriend, so she criticized the school for letting lesbians attend the prom. The neighbor also complained about a school assembly involving the realities of transgender people.

“She said that she had to move them away because she was so sick of the gays and transgenders and everyone making their ‘lifestyle’ okay,” RoseyCrotch said on Reddit.

And so a friendly revenge/reminder was served, with most fellow Reddit users praising it – along with some hilarious jokes of course.

Maybe these rainbushes stay around all year long.
