Marvel’s Latest Defender Arrives in First Full Look at ‘Iron Fist’

Marvel Entertainment’s newest hero is bringing some real firepower to help defend New York City from evil.

On Tuesday, Marvel and Netflix unveiled the first full-length trailer for Iron Fist, the fourth hero to emerge in its Defenders series of programming. Watch:

Iron Fist is Danny Rand (Finn Jones), rightful heir to Rand Enterprises, who disappeared 10 years ago when the plane carrying his family mysteriously crashed. Rand survived and undergoes extensive kung fu training which he will use to fight the “bad people who have gotten on the inside” of his company and New York.

Iron Fist stars Jones, alongside Jessica Stroup, David Wenham, Jessica Henwick, and Rosario Dawson, reprising her role as Claire Temple, the nurse who has appeared in all three other Defender series on Netflix (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage). Iron Fist is the last 13-episode series that will premiere before the full Defenders team comes together for a team-up miniseries this fall.

All episodes of Iron Fist will be available to stream on March 17.
