Now that the Game of Thrones premiere is nearly upon us, it’s time to reinvigorate those conversations of whether Jon Snow is alive and who may be on the chopping block next. Oh, and don’t forget to watch Maisie Williams make her fans doubt everything they thought they knew.
Williams, who plays Arya Stark on the hit HBO show, teamed up with Nylon magazine to pull the most epic prank on her fans. In the video below, Williams pretends to work at a local hobby shop in Santa Monica, Calif., called Areo Hobbies. The shop is having a Game of Thrones giveaway where customers must perform a scene from the show in order to get free merchandise. When they enter the store, however, the shoppers are surprised to find none other than Arya Stark sitting behind the register.
“Hello, there sir. What can we help you with today?” Williams says as she greets a customer.
Dedicated fans obviously know it’s her and excitedly approach Williams, who then tells them her name is “Lorraine” and she has no idea what they’re talking about.
“What, you think I’m this?” Williams says as she hold up an action figure of herself. “This is a little boy!”
“I’m so confused right now,” the customer responds.
Another fan asks Williams, “I recognize you from Game of Thrones, right?”
To which she responds, “Oh, I’ve never seen Game of Thrones. I heard it’s a really good show.”
Williams’ best moment is when another fan says he recognizes her and Williams says, “I was thinking that I recognize you … Have you been to England? Tinder?”
If you thought it couldn’t get any better than that, it does, because then Williams starts making customers perform scenes from the show to get the free gifts.
One woman pretends to fly around the store like a dragon and another proceeds to bow her head in shame as Williams marches in front her, saying, “Shame!”
