Justin Bieber: ‘I’m Single… but Not Looking for Love’
Justin Bieber has confirmed he’s a single man and isn’t “really looking” for a relationship.
The 22-year-old singer has been linked to various famous faces including Lionel Richie’s daughter Sofia in recent months. But as he filmed an interview for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, set to air on Monday, the star admitted he is currently unattached – a situation he actually likes.
“I am not dating anybody. Single. I’m not really looking either,” he smiled.
And even if he was interested in finding a potential partner, Bieber isn’t planning on using dating app Tinder to do so. Asked if he uses the app, he replied, “I don’t.” When DeGeneres asked if he was curious to find out how it works, the “Sorry” star insisted he’s “not really” interested in trying it out.
However, he did admit he sometimes struggles with being lonely while on tour, but counteracts that by taking his beloved dog Todd on the road with him.
Bieber made his 26th appearance on the show to announce a U.S. stadium leg of his Purpose tour next year.
The host then added to fans’ excitement as she revealed every member of the audience will be getting tickets to go and see Bieber perform at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles next August.
The appearance on Ellen came after an eventful weekend for Bieber, when he was seen having a chat with photographers as he left the Ten Goose boxing gym in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Covered in sweat after a tough workout session, the star pleaded with the snappers not to scream at him to get his attention for a shot.
“Just try not to scream, it’s overwhelming. Just take your photos and act like you’re not even there, if that’s cool,” he told them as he sat in the back seat of his SUV with the door open. “I’m f***ing super normal, so just treat me like I’m normal.”
