In Final Race, Triple Crown Winner American Pharoah Goes For ‘Grand Slam’ Of Horse Racing
On Saturday, the first horse to win the Triple Crown in 38 years will attempt to do something no other horse in history has ever done; win the “Grand Slam” of horse racing.
On October 31, American Pharoah will compete in the Breeder’s Cup Classic in an attempt to complete horse racing’s first ever Grand Slam.
After dominating the fields this summer at the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes, and the Belmont Stakes, American Pharoah will compete in his final race to secure his legacy as one of the sports’ greatest thoroughbreds.
American Pharoah will start in the #4 poll position and is currently listed as the favorite to win for Saturday’s race in Lexington, Kentucky.
