We could all learn from Billy, a young man from New York who isn’t letting his genetic disorder get the best of him. Billy, who lives with Down syndrome, plays in the League of Yes — Yes stands for “You Experience Success” — a baseball program for those with special needs. In the video below, Billy gets a hold of one and, after crossing home plate, delivers one of the most epic home run dances you’ve ever seen.

Billy had performed the dance earlier in the game, so when he got up the next time, League of Yes Executive Director Kristine Fitzpatrick came prepared with a camera. Sure enough, Billy ripped another one, and Fitzpatrick caught the trot as well as the moves. It didn’t take long for the video to go viral.

“The League of Yes’ mission is to establish and sustain baseball programs for people (of all ages) with disabilities,” it reads on the nonprofit organization’s website. “Our objective is to provide an opportunity for those individuals to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing our national pastime.”

The league, which Fitzpatrick founded back in 2010 — it was called the Miracle League of Long Island then — has grown exponentially in recent years. There were a mere 30 players and 30 volunteers when it first began, and in eight years those numbers have grown to 300 players and 1,400 volunteers.

Make sure to watch the video, which will undoubtedly put a smile on your face, and SHARE it to keep the legend of Billy growing.
