A mom was left speechless recently when retail workers did something completely unexpected for her handicapped son.
Jessica Johnson was visiting her local Home Depot store in North Richland Hills, Texas. Johnson was reportedly looking for a new walker for her son, Silus, who is blind. However, according to Johnson, Silus was too big for the walkers retail stores offer, and that’s when the trio of Home Depot employees swooped in.
Johnson explained the “gentlemen from the Home Depot… built my sweet Silus a custom walker to help him get around since he is too big for the ones in stores.”
Johnson continued, “They did this out of the kindness of their hearts and asked for nothing in return!”
According to Johnson, Silus will be three in November, but still struggles to walk due to a genetic disorder called “Norrie Disease.” Thanks to the kindness of these retail workers, Silus’ struggles won’t be quite as difficult and this mom couldn’t be more thankful.
“I have no idea how I would ever repay them,” said Johson. “My heart is so full.”
