Holiday travel can be a real pain, but Heathrow Airport is hoping this ad will make it a little more bearable!
Created by ad agency Havas, the clip shows two elderly teddy bears navigating the airport, trying to master all the trials and tribulations of holiday travel. After passing through immigration and baggage claim, the two teddy bears head to the arrival gate where they have a heartwarming reunion with their family.
Julia Weir, the head of PR communications at Heathrow Airport, shared that “the video represents that Love Actually moment people experience when coming home – particularly at Christmas.”

“Christmas is my favorite time of year at Heathrow – the airport is abuzz with families and friends reuniting for this special time of year,” Heathrow’s Commercial Director Jonathan Coen said in a press release. “We love the film and hope the bears’ journey through the airport captures that excitement you feel when walking through Heathrow arrivals into the arms of your loved ones at Christmas.”
The ad will be played across several social media platforms and in different cinemas during the holiday season.
The holiday ad is part of a new brand campaign for the airport. Check out their “First Flight” ad below, which celebrated Heathrow’s 70th anniversary.
