Has it always been a dream of yours to travel the open road in a Winnebago?
With the world getting smaller and smaller, it’s no wonder that Happier Camper has developed a mini camper – think a Smart Car version of an Airstream bus. Movie star Matthew McConaughey, who once lived in an Airstream told Architectual Digest, “The thing about small spaces is that they’re relaxing.” Well, just wait till he gets a hold of this!
In this stream-lined trailer you can mix and match over 100 different styles with it’s Adaptiv modular interior system. Your tricked-out camper could have custom-engraved door hinges, a custom curbside doorstep, premium snap-down and sliding blinds, and independent LED lighting, just for starters.
The colors are not shy, so expect to be noticed in the middle of nowhere, as they’re available in blue, turquoise, and red. Here’s the video to show how it transforms.
According to Today, the insides can be put together like Legos with attachable bench cubes, cushions, and even a deluxe kitchenette with a sink, pull-out fridge and stove. It’s lightweight frame, just 1,100 pounds, is made from fiberglass which means it can easily be pulled by most cars.
It is most cost-effective to buy the camper in Los Angeles, where the company is based, or for an extra $500 to $2,000 you can have it delivered to your door depending on location.
With base models starting at almost $16,000, it can go as high as $24,000 depending on extra add-ons. The 70-square-foot trailer is very versatile, morphing from a U-Haul to a sleeper for a family of five.
Or better yet, leave the kids at home and escape on a romantic getaway for two!
