Talk about a great act of kindness.
This past Sunday, fans of the Dutch football team ADO Den Haag went out of their way to make a bunch of sick children smile. During a match between ADO Den Haag and Feyenoord FC, fans from the upper deck of the stadium showered a group of visiting fans from Sophia Children’s Hospital with stuffed animals.
The fans were told to bring stuffed animals into the stadium ahead of the game and then they coordinated a specific time to give them to the children. At the twelfth minute of the game the fans threw the stuffed animals down to the children’s box, creating quite the spectacle from above. Check it out below.

“Our mailbox is flowing full of compliments and thanks to the fans of Ado Den Haag. Of course we’d like to pass them on! We also received some pictures of children who, at the invitation of Feyenoord Rotterdam, sat in the box.” ADO Den Haag shared on its Facebook page.
What a simple and kind gesture!
