“Call Me Caitlyn” – Meet Caitlyn Jenner
World, meet Caitlyn Jenner!
Today Caitlyn Jenner made her glamorous debut to the world on the cover of Vanity Fair’s July issue shot by the infamous Annie Leibovitz. Crazy to think that it was just a couple months back, in April, when Olympic gold medalist and E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s reality star, Bruce Jenner, 65, confirmed to the world (after much speculation) during an interview with Diane Sawyer, that he was going to begin transitioning into a woman.
Following the Diane Sawyer interview, Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s did a two part special episode titled “About Bruce,” showing how the famous family was processing the news. It was clear that each family member was struggling in their own way, as would be expected, but their overall message was clear and powerful: No matter what they will love and support Bruce through it all.
Caitlyn also made her social media debut today and the response was overwhelming! For her first tweet ever she unveiled her Vanity Fair cover photo. Seconds later she tweeted “I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”

Within a few short hours she accumulated over a million followers, became the fastest growing twitter account – a title previously held by President Barack Obama – and her name became a top trending topic on Twitter! The social media-sphere was booming with messages of love and support for Caitlyn and of course her children were among the many big names to reach out:
