On Monday, Justice League star and producer Ben Affleck revealed a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming big-budget film that sent fans into a frenzy when it revealed a major villain of the DC Comics universe will play a part in the film.
Affleck, who plays Batman, took to Twitter to post a short, 30-second clip from the sequel to Batman v. Superman that shows the character Deathstroke walking toward the camera. Affleck provided no additional information with the clip, but fans ate up the soundless footage.
In the comics, Deathstroke the Terminator, a.k.a. Slade Joseph Wilson, is a mercenary and assassin who first made his appearance in the 1980s comic, The New Teen Titans, and has since become a thorn in the side of numerous Justice League members.
According to IMDB, no actor is listed in the cast for Deathstroke, so it’s unclear who will be playing the super-villain.
Justice League, which stars Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, and Ray Fisher, hits theaters Nov. 17, 2017.
