Baby Born With Full Head of Hair Becomes Internet Star

It may look like a toupee or Photoshop, but we assure you, this baby really does have that hair.

Her name is Isabelle Kaplan and she’s only two months old. The luscious head of hair, er, I mean, baby, went viral after her cousin posted a photo to Reddit saying, “My baby cousin has hair that looks like a news anchorman.”

She certainly does.

Reddit users quickly ran with it, creating a variety of memes and professing their jealousy over the hair.

“Not gonna lie, I’m jealous as hell,” one user wrote.

Some tried to claim it was just a toupee, but others said it’s possible for babies to have hair like this and that it usually means the mother experienced  “severe heartburn” during her pregnancy.

Dr. Bud Zukow told HairFinder that in general it’s a “genetic thing or even an ethnic thing.”

“Just like other characteristics, some babies have more hair than others,” he said.

As it turns out, Isabelle’s father said he also had a lot of hair at a young age, according to Redbook.

Yahoo! reports that Isabelle’s grandparents aren’t amused by some of the memes, but her father really likes the one comparing her to the comic book character Wolverine.

Isabelle’s mom, however, said she was just happy her daughter was bringing joy to others.
