We all know school can be a heartless, dreadful place. That’s why one dad decided to cheer up his daughter with awesome cartoon drawings hidden inside her lunchbox each day.
The dad, Rob Biddulph, is a children’s book author who draws a picture of a cartoon character on a Post-it note and puts it in his daughter Poppy’s lunch every day. It all started when Poppy was starting at a big school and was nervous.
According to Metro.co.uk, Biddulph surprised his daughter on her first day with a cartoon and it just snowballed from there.
“That evening she asked what I was going to draw for the following day. 600 post-its later we’re still going,” Biddulph told Metro.
The last five weeks' #PackedLunchPostIts for Poppy. Recognise them all?

Each drawing also includes a note telling Poppy he loves her and reminding her to eat her lunch. Biddulph said it’s sometimes difficult to come up with new drawings each day, so most of the time he will have a theme for the week.
“For example,” he said, “we’ve recently done all the Disney films in chronological order. That kept us going for a few months.”
Biddulph’s drawings even caught on with the other kids at school, who will sometimes put in requests for specific things for him to draw.
But it’s not just kids who like his drawings, Biddulph’s Post-its will now be featured in their own exhibit in Waterstone’s Tottenham Court Road.
