More than 600 Corgis took over Huntington Beach this past weekend for the best beach party ever!
Hosted by SoCal Corgi Nation, the beach party of Corgis happens three times each year. According to their website, the event is “a free, fun-filled day of corgi meet-and-greets, doggie limbo contests, photo ops, vendors, giveaways, corgi costumes, talent contests, and MORE!”

The proceeds from the meet up and corgi merchandise sold at the beach party helps to benefit Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue, an organization that helps rescue corgis in need.
The event is also known as Corgchella, although the fashion choices here are so much better. The day is filled with events such as a costume contest, a “corgkini” contest, a talent show and a “best butt” contest.
